This 4WD extreme heavy duty system offers the ultimate in protection for four wheel drives which are exposed to corrosive environments on a CONSTANT basis. This system was specifically designed to protect four wheel drive vehicles used by Surf Life Saving Clubs and Professional Fishermen that operate full-time on surf beaches.


This system will protect vehicles exposed to every day use on the beach, in mineral rich mining environments, or on snow covered roads where de-icing salts and chemicals are being used to melt the snow.

How Does it Work?

Rust is an electrochemical reaction that occurs when moisture and oxygen comes into contact with bare metal. Irregularities in the metal can trap moisture, increasing contact time and allowing rust to take hold. High humidity can accelerate rust as can saltwater spray. Rust is the end result of loss of electrons from within metal. Oxygen combines with the metal atom and forms Ferric Oxide, more commonly known as rust. CouplerTec Systems interfere with the oxidization cycle, and in effect, trick nature.
