November 2005 To Whom It May Concern West Coast Radio Pty Ltd had a Couplertec Rust Protection System installed on our Ford Transit van (The Coast Cat) in late 2004. Being the major radio station in the Peel and surrounding areas, our promotion vehicles have to last as well as look good all the time. We have noticed that the stone chips, and areas where paint has been removed has not rusted, even though the vehicle is exposed daily to the elements of salt air and things that would normally cause corrosion. Our other promotional vehicle as yet does not have Couplertec protection, and is showing signs of corrosion. Fitted to The Coast Cat is a sophisticated sound system, for live crosses and promotional events. It is not affected at all by the electronic rust protection system.
