Mac's Engineering in conjunction with certain Coal Mines within Central Queensland ran a testing program utilizing Couplertec 4 Coupler Heavy Duty Systems over a period of 18 months. The test proved to be effective by controlling the corrosion problems associated with the coal mines, sulphur being the corrosive agents. Mac's Engineering are now supplying & fitting Couplertec 4 Coupler Heavy Duty Systems to all new Nissan Patrols going onto these Coal Mine sites in Central Queensland. We are also looking at using Couplertec Technology to control corrosion on static structures at a local coal loading facility and for the prevention of corrosion on a steel and concrete water tower.
