CouplerTec Electronic Rust ProTECtion Systems are guaranteed under the terms and conditions contained within the warranty documentation as supplied with each system. If, for any reason within the warranty period, the unit is faulty or does not provide the required flow of electrons for rust protection for the vehicle, or, if the pad (the CouplerTec Electronic Rust ProTECtion Systems coupler pad/s) which is/are affixed to the paint do not act as a positive plate in the capacitor, which in turn may mean that the paint does not becomes the dielectric to hold the charge static therefore acting as a negative plate in the capacitor, the unit will be deemed as faulty and it will be replaced with a new CouplerTec Electronic Rust ProTECtion Systems replacement unit completely FREE OF CHARGE, regardless of year within the warranty period. CouplerTec Electronic Rust ProTECtion Systems create in the vehicle a large capacitor; the pad is the positive plate, the paint is the dielectric, and the motor vehicle's body is the negative plate. The electrons are built between the positive plate and the negative plate and the paint ensures that they are retained. The end result is the World Famous, proven, CouplerTec electronic rust protection system. It is the responsibility of the owner to regularly check that the unit is working (green light flashing and capacitive coupler pad/s attached) If the CouplerTec Electronic Rust ProTECtion Systems red light appears constant or pulsing, it is the responsibility of the owner to notify the CouplerTec Electronic Rust ProTECtion Systems authorized service agent immediately.
